In the display case, several sacred and liturgical objects are exhibited, each with its own artistic uniqueness. The chiseled silver chalice from the eighteenth century (Number twenty-five H) stands out for its high manufacturing value, evident in details such as meticulously crafted angels and floral decoration. More intricate is the silver chalice with symbols of the Passion (Number twenty-four H); also from the eighteenth century, it features a complex interweaving of floral motifs and angelic heads. In the stem, the tangle opens to embrace the symbols of the Passion introduced by the silversmith. The silver chalice (Number twenty-three H) has a more slender form but is equally rich in figurative intensity. The motif with angelic heads is also present here, while the stem and base play with curved lines to create a plastic effect. At the top of the rim, you can read the hallmark ‘MAR. N. S. DANC.’ . The silver chalice with simpler geometric decoration (Number twenty-six H) dates back to seventeen ninety-five, according to the dating inscribed on the rim. Its rationality highlights new artistic influences with a stylistic shift marking the transition from Baroque to Neoclassical. The group concludes with two more silver chalices (Number seven H and Number sixteen H) and a thurible (Number three H).
